Editorial integrity, fair use and sourcing

1. Compliance with US copyright law (17 U.S.C. section 107)

We do not scrape, mirror or republish full text user reviews from third party platforms. Our ratings are compiled through:

  • Factual ingestion. Numerical ratings and pricing structures are factual data points and are not subject to copyright.
  • Transformative meta synthesis. Community consensus is synthesized into original editorial commentary written by us.
  • Nominative fair use. Product names and marks are used strictly to identify the product being evaluated. We do not modify logos or imply sponsorship or endorsement by any brand.

2. Commercial link transparency

Every outbound link is labeled:

  • Reader supported partnerEarns a referral commission at zero extra cost to you.
  • Non monetized / FOSSGenerates $0 in compensation. Included purely on merit.

A commission never changes a score, a ranking, or whether we publish a criticism. If a product we earn from is the wrong choice for you, the review says so.

3. Corrections

Pricing, features and reliability change. If something here is out of date or wrong, email Ryan@stackcurated.net and we will retest and update the score.
